Fishes!!!

Day 30. Hands & legs very itchy, cannot tahan already, so I got some fishes!!

Short Cut!!!

Instead of waiting months for the Nitrogen cycle to occur naturally, I bought a pack of starter bacteria. Its really convenient, coming in pills. But sadly, good things don't come cheap.

Placed it at the bottom of the drip tray.
The bacteria will immediately colonise the Fine Filter Pad.
In just 24hrs, I can add fishes already. Cool!

Just 'tapao' home.

Can roughly know the size of them by comparing with my hands.





Floating in tank. Leaving them like that for about 20mins to let temperatures equalise.





All so excited to escape from the bag.

20 mins later. Opened the bag & mixed the water from the bag & tank together.

Letting them get used to the water parameter of the new tank.

Added more water inside the bag.

Continued to add somemore water. Can see the bag going to sink already.

WOO HOO!!! 30 mins later, tilted the bag to let them out.

All of them so eager to get out.

Exploring their new home.

"Whats that grey thingy over me?" the Goldfish checking it out curiously.

"Stop following me!" Haha. I like this...all playing with the reflection.

"Hello!"

I love it when they come to the front of the

tank to greet me whenever I walk past. I'm so touched!
